Frank Lloyd Wright Fallingwater

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater

6/2/2024

I was introduced to Frank Lloyd Wright’s work while at Hazard High School. My junior year of high school, in 2006, I had a teacher by the name of Mrs. Cody who taught Arts and Humanities. She embodied enthusiasm for the arts. Mrs. Cody is the reason I have been fascinated with architecture. Studying design, shapes, and intent are all facets of photography as well. Teachers have life long impact on their students. I’m thankful to finally visit this beautiful piece of art with my wife and daughter. Thank you Mrs. Cody for providing an experience not many are lucky to have. When I met my wife 16 years ago she was amazed I knew how to ballroom and salsa dance… which is something else we learned in her class.

The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes. If you foolishly ignore beauty, you will soon find yourself without it. Your life will be impoverished. But if you invest in beauty, it will remain with you all the days of your life.
